Today I would like to show my progress on my Project Pan lipstick that I’m focusing on this month. For those of you who are unfamiliar, project panning is when you choose certain makeup products to wear until you use it up. Usually you choose items in your makeup collection that are older, or ones with bulky packaging.
I am panning this sample size lipstick from Bite Beauty called Glacé. I’m using it up because it doesn’t fit in my lipstick holder. I’ve owned it for around a year.

It’s called the Matte Crème Lip Crayon and the full size goes for Canadian $28. I got this one as part of a birthday gift from Sephora. Here are my pictures from when it was new:

It’s actually a beautiful lipstick. The formula is on the dryer side, but that makes it very long wearing. I don’t have to reapply often which makes it a little difficult to use up. Here is my latest progress:

I took it on my weekend trip to New York and also wore it at work a few times. In the photos the lipstick is rolled all the way up. As you can see I’ve used around 1/3rd since my last photograph.

I like wearing this under a gloss or a moisturizing lipstick. I also like to just pat it on with a finger for a more daytime work look. After this lipstick is done, I may buy a Bite Beauty lipstick. I would love to support a good brand from my hometown (Toronto). I heard there is a lip lab there where you can mix lipsticks.

If you like makeup panning and you’re on instagram, I post all my photos there too(@all_makeup_empties).
What are you panning these days? Do you own any Bite Beauty lipsticks?
